Interpretation
Score 22-25: No ED — reassurance, address concerns. Score 17-21: Mild ED — lifestyle modifications, PDE5 inhibitor trial (sildenafil, tadalafil). Score 12-16: Mild-moderate ED — PDE5 inhibitors, evaluate cardiovascular risk factors (ED predicts CV events by 3-5 years). Score 8-11: Moderate ED — combination therapy, consider urology referral, penile duplex US if indicated. Score 1-7: Severe ED — specialist referral, consider intracavernosal injections, vacuum devices, or penile prosthesis. Always screen for depression, relationship issues, and medication effects.
