How do AI notes work?
Lite includes 100 AI notes per month. Pro notes are unlimited once you subscribe (your 14-day trial is capped at 150 notes so you can put it through real clinic days first).
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new account starts with a 14-day trial of full Pro, including Rounding Mode, AVS, and HCC coding, capped at 150 notes. A card is required to start. If you do not subscribe when the trial ends, your account goes read-only: you keep access to your existing notes, but it will not generate new ones until you subscribe. Annual plans save 17% (2 months free).
Are residents, fellows, or medical students free?
Yes. Verified residents, fellows, and medical students get Scribeable Pro — 150 notes a month and every Pro feature — free for a year. Residents and fellows verify instantly with their NPI during signup; medical students apply with their school and are reviewed within 72 hours. You can claim it right in onboarding. What are the transcription limits?
During your 14-day trial, you get 60 minutes of transcription time per week on a rolling basis. Lite, Pro, and Practice plans include unlimited transcription. The weekly limit resets on a rolling 7-day basis, so you always have access to the most recent 7 days of usage.
What are add-ons?
Pro subscribers can add Rounding Pro ($19/mo) for unlimited rounding sessions (Pro includes 2/week by default). Manage it anytime from your subscription settings.
What are After Visit Summaries?
After Visit Summaries (AVS) are patient-facing post-visit instructions generated from your encounter documentation. They include medication changes, follow-up appointments, warning signs, and care instructions — written at a 6th-grade reading level. Available with specialty-specific content for 41 specialties. Included with Pro and Practice plans.
What document types can I generate?
Pro and above plans include 35+ document types: referral letters, patient instruction letters, prior authorization forms, disability documentation, work/school notes, specialist consultations, and more. All generated from your encounter data with one click.
What is the Quality Reporting dashboard?
The Quality Reporting dashboard tracks MIPS/HEDIS measures across your practice, monitors quality gap closures, and provides population health insights. It includes 63 quality measures with real-time scoring. Basic quality insights are available on Pro; the full dashboard with population health tracking is included with Practice plans.
I already use another AI scribe. Do I have to start over?
No. You can paste the note format or EHR template you already use and Scribeable builds your note template from it, and on Pro the founder personally helps you get your note templates set up. The 14-day full-Pro trial (up to 150 notes) requires a card to start, so you can run Scribeable next to your current scribe on real clinic days before deciding. See /switch for how the move works.
Can I switch plans later?
Absolutely. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
Can I move my subscription from the App Store to the web, or the other way?
Yes, in three steps. Cancel the current subscription where you bought it (Apple Settings > Subscriptions for the App Store, Settings > Billing on the web). Keep using Scribeable until the period you already paid for ends. Then subscribe on the other side. You cannot hold both at once, so the new subscription can only start after the old one has ended. Your notes, templates, and history stay on your account the whole time.
Is my data secure?
Yes. We're HIPAA compliant with signed BAA agreements. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit using AES-256 encryption, and we never use your data to train AI models.
What is a BAA and do I need one?
A Business Associate Agreement (BAA) is required by HIPAA when a third party handles PHI (Protected Health Information). Scribeable provides a BAA at no extra cost with every plan, including the trial. Your BAA is automatically in effect when you accept our terms of service.
How does Practice pricing work?
Practice plans are priced per provider and negotiated to fit your group — every plan includes unlimited notes, every feature, custom templates, and dedicated founder support on one agreement. Contact us and we'll put a number together for your practice, usually within a day.

Billing & Renewal: All prices are in USD. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) at the then-current rate unless cancelled. Monthly intro pricing applies to the first billing cycle only; subsequent months are billed at the standard rate. Annual plans are billed as a single payment for the full year.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing cycle.
App Store Purchases: Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store are billed by Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Auto-renewal may be turned off in your Apple ID account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. See Apple's subscription management guide for details.
