Quick Start Guide

Scribeable is available on the App Store for iPhone and Apple Watch. Download it for free to get started.

1. Open the App Store on your iPhone
2. Search for "Scribeable"
3. Tap "Get" to download
4. Open the app once installed

Sign up with your email or continue with Apple ID for the fastest setup.

• Email signup: Enter your email and create a password
• Apple ID: Tap "Continue with Apple" for one-tap signup
• Practice code: If your practice has a code, enter it during signup

After signup, set your specialty (40+ supported) and preferred note type in Settings. This ensures every note is optimized for your workflow from the start.

Recording a consultation is simple:

1. Tap the large orange "Record" button
2. Place your phone nearby (screen up or down)
3. Have your normal conversation with the patient
4. Tap "Stop" when finished

Tip: For best results, ensure you're in a quiet environment with minimal background noise.

After stopping the recording, select the note type that matches your encounter:

• General: Progress Note, Admission H&P, Discharge Summary, Clinic Note, and more
• Specialty: Psychiatric Evaluation, Stroke Consult, Prenatal Visit
• Procedure: Operative Note, Pre-Op/Post-Op Notes, Dental Procedures
• Emergency: ED Provider Note, ED Triage Note

Scribeable supports 22+ note types, each with specialty-specific sections and formatting. See Note Types & Templates for the full list.

Tap "Generate Note" and Scribeable will produce a complete clinical note in under 60 seconds. You can:

• Review and edit any section
• Check AI-suggested ICD-10 and HCC codes
• Switch to a different note type (your content is preserved)
• Export to your EHR via the Chrome extension, or as PDF

If you see multiple patients in a row — hospital rounds, nursing home visits, or a busy clinic day — Rounding Mode lets you record once for all of them:

1. Start a Rounding session from the web dashboard
2. Walk through your encounters naturally — Scribeable detects each patient transition
3. When you're done, individual notes are generated for each patient automatically
