iOS App Guide

The Scribeable iOS app has four main sections:

• Record: Start new recordings, select patients, choose note types
• Notes: View, edit, and manage your generated notes
• Patients: Patient lookup and encounter history
• Settings: Specialty, note type defaults, documentation preferences

To record on your iPhone:

1. Tap the Record tab
2. Optionally select a patient for context
3. Tap the orange Record button
4. Place phone nearby during consultation
5. Tap Stop when finished

The app can record in the background — you can use other apps while recording.

During a recording, you can speak voice markers to add emphasis or instructions that Scribeable will incorporate into the note:

• Say "Note:" followed by your comment to add a specific detail
• Example: "Note: patient appears uncomfortable when palpating right lower quadrant"
• Voice markers are transcribed and used to enhance the relevant note sections

Voice markers are especially useful for physical exam findings or clinical impressions you want to make sure appear in the note.

After stopping a recording:

1. Select your note type from the dropdown (22+ types available)
2. Confirm or change your specialty for this encounter
3. Optionally link to a patient for additional context
4. Tap "Generate Note"

Processing takes 30–60 seconds depending on recording length. Each note includes structured clinical content, ICD-10 codes, and billing suggestions.

Rounding Mode is designed for providers who see multiple patients consecutively — hospital rounds, nursing home visits, or busy clinic days.

• One continuous recording: Start once at the beginning of rounds, stop once at the end
• Automatic patient detection: Scribeable identifies when you transition between patients
• Individual notes: A separate clinical note is generated for each patient
• Room/patient hints: Mention the patient name or room number and Scribeable will tag the segment
